Voxengo Tempo Delay [Tempo Delay] by Voxengo
VSTWin added 18/01/2003

This plug-in is a "packed-with-features" delay module based on tempo, incorporating EQ and tremolo sections with separate controls for each output channel. Instead of a single "length" control this plug-in implements two separate "delay" and "length" controls which allows you to create evenly sounding "ping-pong" echoes.
Rhythmic Metalisation Delay [Delay] by ndc Plugs
VSTWin added 29/10/2002

A fairly simple delay plugin which also has a 'Rhythmic Mode'. Basically this alters the delay time in a sequence using very short delay times, which gives a characteristic 'metallic' sound, and effectively allows you to turn previously un-pitched sounds (such as a drum loop), into pitched sequences. Also syncs to the host's tempo, although it should be noted that some older hosts do not support this feature of the VST specification.
Bouncy [Bouncing Ball Delay] by bram @ smartelectronix
VSTWinMacAudio Unit added 09/10/2002

Now YOU can bounce like an Aphex Twin ;-)
Deloizer [Delay] by Ludothek
VSTWin added 20/04/2002

'Big buffer' delay with reverse play. Parameters: bpm = beats per minute, div = division, mult = multiplication. All these 3 are used to set the delay time. The internal formula is : delay time in miliseconds = ((240000/bpm)/div)*mult, fdb = feedback, #b! = weird buffer-read-pointer freeze experiment, vol = volume, reverse = reverse play on / off, r. type = reverse type: norm = normal, alt = alternate between normal and reverse play. Two versions are available : with 5 seconds max. delay time or with 15 seconds max. delay time...
q_delOizer [Delay] by andr
VSTWin added 14/11/2001

Delay with max. 5/15 or 30 seconds delay time. Tempo value via bpm, division and multipl. parameters. Buffer-read-offset in 1/32. Reverse mode: 0 = normal, 1 = reverse delay, 2 = alternate between normal and reverse ...
ProDelay [Tempo Delay] by db-audioware
VSTWinMac added 11/11/2001

ProDelay is a tempo delay plugin with filters and auto-panning. This plugin used to be $35 shareware, now it's available for free!
dfx transverb [Tape-like Delay] by Super Destroy FX
VSTWinMacAudio Unit added 05/11/2001

Transverb is like a delay plugin, but it can play back the delay buffer at different speeds. Think of it like a tape loop with two independently-moving read heads. There are lots of parameters to control and a parameter randomizer for the impatient....
Delayifier [4-tap delay] by Green Oak
VSTMac added 05/11/2001

The Delayifier is a 4-tap delay and includes tape rolloff and tape flutter for vintage-type effects. It also includes a ducking feature which suppresses the delay while there is input signal, thus permitting you to use lush delays without cluttering up your sound too much...
VPingPong [BPM stereo delay with filter] by Vellocet
VSTWinMac added 20/11/2001

Parameters : Tempo - tempo in beats per minute : PingPong - forces ping-pong delay times which are set from : LinitDel - left initial delay time : RinitDel - right initial delay time : LfeedDel - left feedback delay time : RfeedDel - right feedback delay time : Llevel - left delay level : Rlevel - right delay level : Lfeedback - left delay feedback : Rfeedback - right delay feedback : EqFreq - log scale frequency cutoff position : EqRes - resonance level : EqSmooth - smooth amount for changes in frequency and resonance : EqType - filter type : Dry/Wet : Level...
dB-T Tempo Delay [Delay] by db audioware
DirectX added 05/11/2001

In 1997, db audioware released the original freeware VST plugin, Tempo Delay. This simple stereo echo had one unique feature, it let you enter delays in beat measures instead of milliseconds. dB-T tempo delay is our latest incarnation of this ever popular plugin. Now in DirectX form, this stereo delay still lets you enter time in measures, but now offers individual high & low pass filters on each channel (for old tape delay effects and special effect delays). Check out the presets for some starting points.
DualDelay [Stereo Delay] by Big Tick
VSTWinMacBeOS added 23/06/2002

Stereo dual delay with lowpass resonant filter. 2 independant left/right delays with delay and feedback controls. Lowpass (-24 dB/Oct) resonant filter. Delay times can be expressed in ms or in 16th notes (when synced to the host tempo). Group mode for ping-pong delay effects...
Karlette [Analog Tape Delay] by Steinberg
VSTWinMac added 05/11/2001

Karlette is a 'tape-loop' echo emulation as a VST plug-in. Each of the four replay 'tape heads' has separate pan and high-frequency roll-off controls. Karlette can be used as both a Send or as an Insert Effect. But this is a plug-in supporting VST 2.0 so when you click the sync button, the individual time delays become tempo dependent so if the song changes tempo the echoes will be precisely locked to the beat.
